What’s Taco Tuesday, or any great dinner party, without a delicious margarita? I was talking to a bartender the other day who was adamant that 2016 is “the year of the margarita,” and I couldn’t agree more! This is my first time taking on the art of mixology and I like to think it turned out pretty great.
For this recipe you will need-
- 6-8 oz fresh squeezed orange juice
- 6-9 oz gold tequila
- 1 mango, diced
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- Extra Ice, as needed
- 1/4 lime, sliced into wedges
Yield: 2 margaritas
The Marg - (Prep 5 min, Cook 2 min)
Combine all ingredients except the extra ice and lime in a blender. Blend until a slushy consistency. Add extra ice and blend additional times until desired consistency. Pour into salt-rimmed glasses and garnish with a slice of lime. Enjoy!
